The book Dayz of Glory explores the history of Belgrade graffiti from the early 1980s until 2003, when the scene gradually changed its form and evolved into a much more complex phenomenon.
The chapters are organized chronologically, with each following different locations throughout the city. The archive of photographs and interviews was painstakingly collected over a long period directly from the scene’s pioneers, graffiti enthusiasts, and photographers. Most of the documented material has never been published before, while the interviews—transcribed from audio cassettes—are entirely exclusive.
Dayz of Glory covers the majority of key and relevant graffiti created during this specific era in Belgrade; as such, no more authoritative source offers such a comprehensive, all-in-one perspective on the subject.
